Website update
[ Added: June 2008 ]
We have had a website for a couple of years, but have recently spent quite a bit of time updating it. The main changes to the website are the addition of individual projects. These include both residential and commercial projects. We have tried to put a variety of projects on the site to reflect the nature of the work we do. These projects are in and around Harrogate, as well as further afield.
It has been a useful exercise, as it has made us take a careful look at what we have done and how we present it to both existing and potential clients. We are always happy to receive feedback about our website, so please contact us if you feel there is anything we could improve.
We are currently working on projects for an existing client who specialises in food processing and packing. Initially, we designed a 1600 square metre garlic processing and packing factory in Bulgaria. The project we are currently working on is a 3000 square metre sweetcorn processing and packing plant back in the UK.
The Bulgarian project involved a new-build factory, as well as offices, a canteen and meeting rooms. The main architectural feature was the large, double-height atrium that will be the entrance to the factory.
Back in the UK, the latest factory will be designed to make the flow of sweetcorn through the factory as efficient as possible. Offices in the centre of the factory will enable staff to monitor processes, while changing rooms to the side of the plant will allow workers to change before the enter the workfloor.
