The department needed a covered link to improve access between two existing buildings that were set at right angles to each other.

We took an engineering approach to the design and designed a walkway constructed out of timber and steel.

Large establishments, such as universities, often have to manage and adapt existing buildings and spaces for current needs, and this was the case at the Engineering Department at Sheffield University.
